Into BALI - 1st Day

Day 1 Into Mesmerising BALI. 4m populations and land size 5632sq km. Rolling into Bali was a breeze. Ferry services from Ketapang on eastern Java island , to Gilimanuk, western Bali and vice versa was easy and very efficient. Ferry services runs 2 trips by the hour. Once into Bali, the southern coastal road leads all the way to Denpasar. Waiting for your ship ( RPL ) to dock may encounter delay and it is best to travel in daylight hours as the roads , although good, are rather narrow and dark at night. We had the experience to checked into Le Meridien in the dark.

Le Meridien, a 5 star hotel, was situated next to Pura Tanah Lot - a popular temple obligatory to most tourists visiting Sountern Bali. The most important and venerated " Sea Temple ", you can only reach this temple during low tide. From Le Meridien, you can walk thru a Par 3 hole to reach the site and capture very scenic photographs , esp during sunset. However the temple do not allow non Balinese to enter the temple. Souvenir stalls and F & B outlets are well placed to cater for all visitors.

Tanah Lot as viewed from the Par 3 Tee Box. Also a fantastic spot for Qigong. This hole is almost similar to Ria Bintan Par 3 ( Hole No 18).
