Denum Valley

DENUM Valley - hidden some 70km in the forest in central Sabah
it boasts of habitats for some 300 species of birds, alongside other
wildlife. With the cool environment amidst chirping birds and the
sound of crickets and the rushing water, we embark to test out the
Qi .

The morning mist during sunrise creates a very cool environment. With the running river of about 1.5m / sec, the water feature provides a lot of negative ions. Trees creating excellent O2 during the sunrise and energy fron the Rising sun was an excellent and conducive environment for Qigong exercise. Th water feature provides a even better environment than just the jungle alone. The result was that we were able to for the next 8 hours and not feeling as tired. Area like this is an excellent retreat venue for recuperations
On the way out, we came across a deforestation program supported FACE. At the Deforestation park a large conservation board explains in detail the process of how forest can be preserved. The people in-charge were more tah willing to give us a brief and take us on a tour explaining the process of how saplings are nurtured before they are planted. Also the works involved in research and excavation of old roots and plants to ensure proper growth of new saplings.

Neo Chian listening attentively on the process, the programs and what it entails to put back plants in open patches as a result of logging .
